What To Do To Keep Your PPC Online Marketing Gleaming

Pay-per click advertising (PPC) is one of the most effective ways to drive traffic to your site and increase your conversion rates.  For most, you will receive the fastest return on investment (ROI) and you can measure your results pretty easily.  This online marketing feature can be vital for start-ups and other companies who have not invested in long term search engine optimization (SEO).  Google AdWords is the leading platform for online marketers. Adwords is a system whereby keywords and search terms are bidded on by companies and ads are shown to your potential customers in search results.
While most digital marketing agencies use a formulaic system to manage your Adwords campaigns, there are some other ways to keeping your Adwords marketing up-to-date to keep up with the competition.
The one thing that all owners and marketing executives should keep in mind is that search marketing is ever changing.  As a result light to dramatic changes need to be addressed in your current campaign. The reason for the fluctuations is because customer language changes and your competitors are always trying to adjust to societal norms that may reflect on the language that is being used.  Just like life itself, your advertising is alive and constantly changing.  Because of this you should address keywords and search terms accordingly in order to stay on top.
Here are some other tips you should use in order to stay current with your PPC marketing:
1. Advertising during business hours- if your business is only open during traditional hours such as from 9 a.m.  through 5 p.m. then you should advertise accordingly.  You will be losing a considerable amount of money if you do not have someone picking up the phone when your customers are looking at your ad.  In the long term, it may affect your business if you have customers calling your business and you do not have a customer service team available to manage queries from potential buyers.
2. Rotate ads to keep them fresh- if you look at the ad customizer feature you have the option to rotate your ads.  By rotating your ads, you will keep them fresh and customers won’t be bored by stale content. You should be aware that customers who are looking to buy your product or service are keeping up with your ads in order to get an idea to purchase immediately.  Because of this you should always remain vigilant in updating content so your customer base believes you care about what you put out online.
Using these little tweaks will help your business grow.  If you need assistance with managing your pay per click campaign then using a digital marketing agency with knowledge on the management side would be helpful for your organization.  They will be able to maximize your budget by adjusting to changes in your niche.

PPC Campaigns for NYC Interior Designers and Decorators

The easiest way to get your message out in online marketing is with PPC advertsing.  Pay per click (PPC) advertising is an effective marketing tool that works well for most businesses.  We have received plenty of questions whether PPC campaigns can work for interior design and decorators.
Generally PPC works for all businesses but we have decided to tackle this question specifically for interior designers and decorators.  Here is what we at Falcon Consulting & Marketing has come up with about PPC:

Recently all Ads are beginning to blend in and look like organic links
PPCs ads are not so easy to distinguish from organic results on a mobile device as well in desktop.  The difference is pretty much indistinguishable with the new twerks to the searches.  The old way of having outlined PPC ads were bright and obvious.  Some users are reluctant to click on paid ads because of the truthfulness of ads in general or I have also been told that some did not want to click on paid ads because they know that the end-company pays for the clicks and therefore would dismiss the ad altogether.  Users prefer clicking on searches that look more professional and trust them more as well.  Organic links are clicked on significantly more than ads.  As a matter of fact, research was done in 2011 indicating that organic links were clicked on 94% of the time.  That is why it is advantagous that PPC blends into organic searches now.  When you type in “NYC interior designers” the ads will fully blend in and will look natural.
Here what we believe Interior Designers and Decorators need to focus on when launching their overall campaign:

The ability to have a strategy is very important when launching a PPC campaign.  It is easy to spend your entire budget pretty quickly if you are not using the appropriate keywords.  Because Pay Per Click should be monitored, you should always review what is not working with you and revise your keywords accordingly.  Proper management is necessary to minimize losses in the beginning months because there is some trial and error when picking keywords at times.
Try to set a budget that is manageable but also is a fair amount to see success.  Under-budgeting your campaign will not give you enough room to breathe.  It will also not give you the opportunity to see what is working.  Having a budget that is set but not overly excessive in the beginning will give you enough leeway to find out what is working.  Also, if you spend too much when you are starting can lead you to lose confidence and terminate your PPC altogether.  You shouldn’t give up so easily.  Using a professional digital marketing agency to guide you through all the early steps will help you tremendously as well.  They will also be able to test certain keywords while minimizing losses for you.
Hiring a digital marketing agency will only further assist you in attaining your goals both professionally and financially.  If you are interested in starting a PPC campaign you can contact Falcon Consulting & Marketing.  We are an industry leader in managing Pay Per Click campaigns in all areas of business.  We are a New York City digital marketing company assisting businesses one at a time.

Measuring Return on Investment (ROI) for Home Improvement Marketing

Return on Investment (ROI) is a performance measure used to evaluate the efficiency of an investment or to compare the efficiency of a number of different investments. ROI measures the amount of return on an investment relative to the investment’s cost. To calculate ROI, the benefit (or return) of an investment is divided by the cost of the investment, and the result is expressed as a percentage or a ratio.
The return on investment formula:
Return On Investment (ROI)
Times have changed when you had only several directories or avenues that customers can find you.   Often times customers can find your website from one of your mailers that you do during the year. They can also call the number on your Facebook business page. Perhaps they find you on Google, then visit your Twitter page before calling. Besides that if you have any idea on using the local directories that are used in local SEO companies, you can also submit your company to multiple sites as well.  That makes it almost impossible to measure if say for instance you are using several phone numbers of gimmicks of that nature that were used in the past.  At Falcon Consulting & Marketing, we have be asked many times by our clients how to measure their return on investment (ROI).  Below is some ways we believe work best:
1.. Train your sales team to ask every new prospective customer how they heard of you before you can schedule an appointment. This allows you to track their ability to convert. It also can show you what is working for you and what is not. For instance, if you run a mailer and get 15 new customers scheduled from it but only 2 show, you may need to evaluate whether the design of your mailer is sufficient or in the alternative whether you are investment your money in the right technique.
2. You should have an employee or several in place that is able to analyze you referral sources. Break down each referral source by month and put the number of new customers from that source.
3. Analyze your advertising budget constantly.  You should consider how much it cost per advertising vehicle per month by how many customers you are gaining by it.  For instance, if you are paying $2,400.00 per month on your Pay Per Click (PPC)  and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaigns and retaining 12 new projects then the average would be $200 per new job.  Compare it to say your mailer campaign which can cost say $450 per customer.  You also need to take into account what the value is of the contract you will sign with the client.  If the six contracts has you gain $60,000 in revenue then you are only gaining only $50,000 on the mailers then that should be taken into consideration as well.  It is important to constantly do this as your techniques will need to adapt to current conditions.  You have to adapt to the times when it comes to advertising like anything else in business.  These numbers are crucial in determining where to place your marketing budget. Also as your marketing strategies grow, so will your ROI if you are doing things right if you are vigilant about it.
If you are interested in maximizing on your ROI and want someone to monitor it for you, Falcon Consulting & Marketing will be able to assist you with all your consulting needs.  We are a full service digital marketing agency located in New York City assisting small and medium sized businesses one client at a time.

What is PPC and How Can It Help Your Company Grow

If you are reading this article, you are probably thinking of using an online marketing campaign to drive traffic to your website and at the end of the day convert that traffic into sales.  One of the quickest ways to generate traffic would be a PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign.  A well structured Paid Search Marketing (PPC) campaign allows a website to rapidly gain targeted traffic. With rapid increase in traffic comes a jump in conversions as well. Search ads help your site bite the traffic pie that allows your ROI to grow exponentially.
Pay Per Click allows websites to advertise on desired pages via their desired keywords throughout the internet. With ads on the display network it ensures that you are seen at  relevant websites on the internet and build a brand online. With pay per click you pick a desired budget and can determine whether you would like to increase that budget or not should you are getting the type of business desired.  In the alternative, you will be able to adjust you campaign if your desired target audience isn’t what you were expecting.
The biggest issues is if a PPC campaign would be good for your particular company.  Below we will address the advantages of using a PPC campaign.  You will see that it is one of the most certain avenues in getting phone calls coming into your office.  Some of the advantages of a PPC are:
  • The majority of other advertising options are hard to determine a precise return on investment, if any. You can set conversion goals within your PPC campaign and you will know exactly how much money you are paying on average for each conversion, whether they are sales, leads, newsletter subscribers or phone calls.
  • With PPC you set your daily budgets and you can change that at any time. While it might be hard for some industries to compete with a small budget, it is possible to get started and run some tests even with a smaller budget. The advantage of a Pay Per Click campaign is the ability to vacillate on your position of your marketing dollars should you decide to.  Most other campaigns are either set on a dollar amount month or yearly.
  • If your business is niche oriented, this would be perfect for you.  You can get really specific in what type of consumer you would like to target in your campaign.
  • PPC can deliver results (and ROI) almost instantly. It is possible to build out a PPC campaign and see traffic, conversions and revenue just hours later.
  • You can use the data you get in your PPC campaign in your SEO campaign.  You will be able to see what does and doesn’t work with respect to keywords and keyword grouping.
